PROGRAM PHILOSOPHY
The Plains Preschool team believes that all children are capable of learning and that early intervention impacts positively on the child’s development and love for learning. Because the early years are critical, we believe that children who may be at risk for future academic or developmental difficulty (and their families) must be identified and serviced in a fully integrated setting as early as possible. We also believe that educational and therapeutic efforts should occur in a manner that is most natural, familiar, meaningful, and appropriate for each child. We believe that it is only when all the adults in the child’s life work together that we can support the development of the young children in the community.
